Why non Africans wear African prints

Hello people 👋 Today, I've got a very juicy gist to share with you.

Have you ever wondered why Non Africans rock the African prints? You must have seen non African celebrities flaunting and rocking our attires more than some of us.  Sit back  let me take you through why I think they love our prints.

As we all know Africans are categorized as Blacks due to our color type , “the dark skinned” So as African business too is known as black owned business. when I hear black owned business what comes to my thinking are. “Africans in businesses like , African print clothing lines, African inspired skin care, African inspired eateries etc. (basically any type of business founded by Africans) . Black owned business that use African inspired patterns in their production has gotten massive outpour of support lately, and this support is due to the fact that African print are unique, beautiful , and colorful in a distinct way.

One of the main reasons why non Africans wear African print is due to the fact that Africans now live among non Africans. Fashion labels that make use of African print now resides abroad, many of which are founded by fashion designers staying in the Western countries. This  is one of the major reason why non Africans wear African prints, they  can get it in their neighborhood from black owned business.

Culture :

African Prints Make Statements:

For we Africans , our African fabric speak up for us , imagine walking  into a room with your beautiful African print dress. You don’t need to say a word, your outfit already made the statement.

Isn’t it a beautiful thing to make statement with your outfit?

One of the most distinguishing factor of an African to the rest of the world is her culture, and there's no better way to express that than through her attire. There is nothing as African values more than her culture, and that is why Africans dress to show where they're coming from not where they're going to. Culture is the way of life of the people. The African prints brings out the true Africanism in an African.  Culture gives identify, shows our true heritage, identifies us to our origin. Remember the saying that we should dress the way you want to be addressed? Today , almost everyone wants to be identified with the African culture through her dressing.

2. Beauty:

There is of course the beauty part why Non Africans loves rocking the African prints. The African prints brings out the true beauty of whoever that desires to rock them. This beauty does not lie in the eyes of the beholder but in the eyes of anyone who truly appreciate something good when they behold one. I guess everyone loves to be identified with something beautiful, and that is why you'll see Top non Africans, looking smashingly beautiful when they are covered in the African print. African prints are now worn to both formal and informal occasions, and your guess is as good as mine, they never disappoint.

3. They're pocket friendly:

In my last article, we discussed briefly that you don't have to go bankrupt or break a bank before you have a good sense of fashion. You see that above statement, it is nothing short of the truth. The African prints definitely looks more beautiful than it cost. There's nothing as beautiful as looking so good yet, for a very pocket friendly price. So the next time you're thinking  of looking beautiful, and not breaking a Bank for it, think of African prints. Even oyinbo sef dey find better way of saving cost. ABI who no like better thing. Lol.
